Patent Lawyer

Sander Gelsing is a Canadian intellectual property lawyer and holds a law degree from the University of Victoria. He is called to both the Alberta and British Columbia Bars.

Mr. Gelsing assists clients with a variety of patent and related legal matters, including:

  • patentability opinions;
  • patent licensing and royalty agreements;
  • patent enforcement and patent infringement law suits;
  • patent validity opinions; and
  • due-diligence surrounding the purchase of patent assets.

Mr. Gelsing represents clients at both the provincial level (e.g. Alberta Court of Queen's Bench) and the federal level (e.g. Federal Court of Canada). He also can assist clients at the Patent Appeal Board.
