It looks like the Canadian Intellectual Property Office has entered into the Blogosphere. That’s kinda cool!
To promote World Intellectual Property Day (April 26, 2006) and to stimulate an exchange of ideas regarding women’s contribution to innovation, CIPO started the World IP Day Blog a couple of days ago. So far there are two postings - here and here.
One can leave comments to the postings and, luckily for me, they need not be in both official languages (see the blog’s FAQs). Would be nice if CIPO’s blog had an RSS feed.
Does anyone know if any other intellectual property office has their own blog? I don’t believe the USPTO has one, but may be mistaken. Send me a quick email if you know of one.
Update (April 17th) - Frédéric Glaize of Le petit Musée des Marques blog sent me a kind email, informing me that there is the Denmark Patent Office Examiners’ blog and that they are also considering an English version after receiving great feedback from Danish readers.
Wow, a blog written by Examiners and officially sanctioned by their IP office. Frédéric also pointed me to Axel Horn’s initial posting about this in the IP Jur blog. Thanks Frédéric!
